
This is a detailed shot of the bottom of an ornate silver bowl given to me by the teachers of Darkhan’s School #15 at the end of my Peace Corps service. It reminds me of the wonderful group of friends and colleagues I worked with in Old Darkhan, Mongolia. I’m glad the Iraqi customs officials didn’t confiscate it.
