Janar and I had our friend Saman and his family over for dinner tonight. With his never-ending smile and heartfelt laughter, Saman is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. He and his sons raise fighting roosters. A few months ago he took me along to a Sulaimani cockfight and we had a wonderful time.
