Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. May, 2012. It has been months since my last post. My apologies. Since I last wrote, I worked for a few months as a Communications Officer for AUIS, I took a handful of MBA classes, I held a photography auction to raise money for Iraq’s first Green Music and Arts Festival and recently I started teaching again.
To take a breather from all of the activity, Janar and I took a wonderful vacation through Malaysia and Singapore a few weeks ago. I took this photo while we were dining at the delicious Hornbill Restaurant in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.
One of the charms of the Hornbill Restaurant is that it’s connected to essentially the world’s largest birdcage. I took this shot as a daring bird was preparing to snatch a bright-red shrimp from Janar’s plate. Needless-to-say, she wasn’t as excited about the photo as I was.
Wow, it seems that bird moved too fast… Nice timing, I like this shot..
Welcome back Mr. Chris, looking forward to seeing more posts.
